Support Finley Singleton
This is Finley Singleton. On November 13th, she received MRI results revealing a tumor in her lower right femur. She was immediately admitted to the hospital for several days of additional testing, including scans, blood work, and a biopsy to determine whether the tumor had spread or if it was cancerous.
On December 8th, Finley was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. Thankfully, her medical team confirmed that the cancer is localized and has not spread to other areas of her body. In the months ahead, she will be in and out of the hospital undergoing treatments, attending appointments, and continuing with the care she needs.
This fundraiser was created not only to support Finley but also to raise awareness about the challenges faced by children and families navigating diagnoses like hers every day around the world. The funds raised will help ease the burden of her medical expenses throughout her treatment journey.
Finley’s goal is that, if donations exceed her medical needs, she and her family will use the remaining funds to give back to others. Their hope is to provide gift cards, meals, and support to families staying on the same floor (7 West) as Finley at Norton Children’s Hospital.
In Finley’s words: “Raising awareness about a situation like this is so important because it can happen to anybody, which is very scary. But me and everyone else here on 7 West are blessed with an amazing staff who makes us all feel so welcomed.”
The Lesley & Rhyan Prather Foundation is a federally approved non profit organization (EIN: 85-2888525) and all donations are considered tax deductible. LRPFD does not take a percentage of any donation, all proceeds raised goes directly to the family. This is a crowdfunding effort and is to be considered non taxable income to the family. If your company offers a donation match program, you can submit your donation to your work and those funds will be allocated to the family as well. Funds for this crowdfunding effort will go towards medical bills or any unexpected cost related to Finley's care including lost wages for her mother who will be caring for Finley.
