Support the Rothrock Family

With shattered hearts and enduring love, we share the passing of Xander Charles Rothrock, who left this world far too soon on April 30, 2025, at the age of 18. A senior at Ballard High School, Xander was a bright, bold, and unforgettable young man whose warmth and spirit lit up every space he entered. He never met a stranger—and once you met him, you never forgot him.
Born on March 12, 2007, Xander brought energy, mischief, and joy into the world from day one. Known for his stubborn streak and fearless heart, he lived life on his own terms—drumming with passion, tearing across the lacrosse field his freshman year, and cooking gourmet meals with a flair well beyond his years. He loved a perfectly cooked steak, a torched crème brûlée, and most of all, time with the people he loved. He was known by many names—Xandipoo, Xanderella, Xan Man, Spiderman—each one a reflection of his humor, character, and the many roles he played in others’ lives. He started working at Jak’s at just 14, quickly becoming a fixture in the restaurant with his strong work ethic and infectious personality.
This crowdfunding page is approved by the Rothrock family and is being created to help offset unexpected and unplanned cost related to Xander's unexpected passing. Any remaining funds will be reserved to go towards the future creation of a foundation in honor of Xander and to support the Xander Charles Rothrock Scholarship Fund.
From the Lesley & Rhyan Prather Foundation:
It was a sudden and unexpected loss that took our girls from us, so we know what the Rothrock family is going through. We know from helping over 500 families & from our own personal loss, that it's the community support that can motivate you to know that you're not in this alone! If you can donate, please do so to support this family. If you can't donate, please pray and/or send positive vibes to the family.
The Lesley & Rhyan Prather Foundation is a federally approved non profit organization (EIN: 85-2888525) and all donations are considered tax deductible. LRPFD does not take a percentage of any donation, all proceeds raised goes directly to the family. This is a crowdfunding effort and is to be considered non taxable income to the family. If your company offers a donation match program, you can submit your donation to your work and those funds will be allocated to the family as well. The foundation will also be making a donation directly to the family and will provide support/resources as needed.
